Brain Fingerprint A brain fingerprint is the combination of any given individual brain?s brainwave signals. Much as with an actual fingerprint, each brainwave spectrum is unique to a given individual. . Whilst the signals generated in response to external stimulus, are typically the same for brains of the same species, individual folds and clefts alter the signal. The device is both highly sensitive to trace amounts of certain vapour molecules, and able to tell a specific substance apart from similar molecules. There has been a great deal of effort, in recent years towards the simulation of a fully working brain. The drive to understand the workings of the human brain has never been greater, with actual neuroprosthetic devices in existence to drive research. We are a long, long way from recreating a human brain with it's billions of neurons and trillions of connections, however that does not mean we are incapable of building a brain.
